After reading various Transformer message boards as well as the various responses that the style study board received I have decided to post concept drawing images of what the Megatron Destroyer Tank toy was supposed to look like.
To clear the issue up here's an image of the control drawing:
Even though the image is small to clearly see the wording you will notice that the control drawng shows a couple of different "attack modes". The "fast attack" mode is in the upper righthand side of the control drawing. The "all terrain super aggressive attack mode" is in the middle righthand side of the images.
Also of note on the control drawing is the mention of such graphics as the word "Megatron" location on the shield cover of the magnetic tread.
This control drawing matches well with the various design images done by Takara (note the Takara R & D stamp on the images).

Here's an image of the "all terrain super aggressive attack mode" done by Takara.
Finally here's an image example of what the Destroyer Tank Megatron was to look like in robot mode.
These images are examples of what the toy Megatron Destroyer Tank was supposed to look like had the Transtech segment of the toyline not been cancelled.

very nice! but without an actual 'face' (unless there was to be one hidden in the helmet somewhere) looks more like a drone than megatron, but very cool
hey Robert, Was there sketches like these for every MAIN character for Transtech? I've seen Pictures containing a concept sketch and what looks like Takaras take on the design, the pictures have an image of earth in the background. I've saved some of the images (sorry for the size of some) I've created what some might look like, that didnt have any from whats been submited here) Any chances that you have the "other" half of these images?!?!?!?!?

As for images I still have some to show, but I currently do not have images for Shockwave, Optimus, and the mini transformers. Things may change in regards to those concept pieces, and if something comes to light, I'll be sure to post it!
